LOCATION: HG Cafe at Newlands House. Petworth, West Sussex
EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, Part Time
HOURS: Wednesday - Sunday 25 - 30 hours per week depending on business requirements

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting a Café Assistant for our Café situated in the beautiful walled gardens of Newlands House Gallery. The successful applicant will ensure that the café is welcoming and inviting to customers and will assist the management and team in ensuring the successful smooth running of the cafe and its operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that every guest is greeted appropriately with a warm welcome.
- Provide knowledgeable information about our food and drinks, including any daily specials.
- Attentive to our guests when taking orders
- Listen to guest feedback and take appropriate action to remedy.
- Display a professional and positive attitude which will ensure repeat custom.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED:
- Candidates will preferably have some relevant experience in hospitality, will be enthusiastic with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for delivering great food and exceptional service however training will be given.
- The successful candidate will be A friendly, calm approach when dealing with customers and have a passion for upholding exceptional customer experience.
